If you are new to photography, spend the money on a great camera. Thats what I did several years ago. I spent about $1,000 on my first camera and have captured amazing moments! I have never regretted spending that kind of money on a great camera that I will use all the time. I have gotten my money back ten fold from my camera.
Technology is something that is ever changing. But when you have a great camera, you don't have to constantly have the newest and greatest. Find a camera that you will love and will have many years with. Check them all out!
I found that this Canon T5i camera is perfect for me. Since I'm a current Canon user, I like to stick with the same brand. I went into the store and check this bad boy out! I was so impressed. Yes, it's currently online for $899.99 and the regular price is $1,049.99. You can save $150! But it's worth investing into a great camera if you love photography!
I coach competitive cheerleading and I'm always taking pictures of my teams on the competition floor. I want to capture that moment! I have to have a great camera for that. Cell phones and other devices are not going to catch that crisp picture for you to have printed out and put on your wall.
Besides coaching, I love taking the kids out to the beach or into the woods and taking "professional" pictures that of course I do myself. I also take family photos for my siblings and friends. A great camera is a must!
